To Sum It Up: We are celebrating once again with our friends and family with a fun and funky potluck reception (the second of 2) at (and spilling out into the parking lot of) the Boiler Bar in West Oakland. Kids are welcome. We’ll have hula hoops, a fire pit, killer playlists (bring one!!!), hopefully a photo booth of some sort, plenty of adult beverages and lots of love to go around. We didn’t know what exactly to call it so Will suggested Monkeybutt the first time so I’m calling this one Monkeybutt II – Electric Boogaloo.
Since this isn’t a traditional wedding reception we’ve decided to skip the caterers and have food as unique as the people who’ll be celebrating with us!
Winter Weather:
The celebration will take place indoors and outdoors. It could be raining, it could be cold. Please prepare for the weather so you’ll have the best time ever!
What to Bring: (Signup Sheet HERE)
Please bring a dish that can feed at least 4 people in a container/dish/pot/pan/tray/bucket (along with serving utensils) labeled with your contact information just in case it gets left behind. If you can’t cook (or don’t want to!) bring a deli platter or some other pre-made treat, appetizer, etc. Think easy, yummy, shareable, inexpensive and low on the potential spoilage scale.
Let us know what you’ll be bringing in the online signup sheet (HERE) or send us an email to paigeandwillgotmarried@gmail.com. We’ll list and update the menu as we start hearing from people. Categories: Main Dish, Salad, Appetizers, Bacon, Beverages (Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic), Dessert.
We’ll have some food and drinks (both adult and non-alcoholic) on hand. We’ll also have compostable dishes, cups and flatware. There can never be enough bacon or booze, btw.
Bring a reusable cup if you so desire.
What to Wear: Be creative or casual or glamorous. It’s up to you. Have fun! Our colors are purple and lime green if that helps.

Photo Booth Maker? If anyone has the know-how to create an easy photo booth, give us a shout!
Music: We’ve got a few playlists but if you’d like at add to the mix, bring it!
Bar Tending: It would be nice to have some friendly faces serving beer, Prosecco and cocktails. Maybe shifts?
Set Up: Decorating, hanging lights, bringing out the fire pit, setting up tables, adding pop-up tents if needed, icing the keg, preparing the bar, etc. Information HERE.
